she passed away in the marie curie hospice caused by cancer.

my mam was born in malta where her mam met her father while being shipped there serving in the navy.she then moved to england with her mother and father at the age of 2 years.she grew up in england with her dad,nanna and sister and brother as her mam passed away when she was very young.
she then met my dad at the age of 14 where they dated for many years and fell prgenant with there first child my brother ian.
they married before ian was born.Then a few years late along came andrew there second child then me.
we visited malta in 1980s to help my mam trace her family it was lovely as we found alot of her family it was very emotional.
we then visited just about every year she loved it no one could say a wrong word against it.
she was then given a beautiful granddaughter natalie-julia to ian,she had her in her life for 12 years then along came her brother jack-thomas she doted on her grandchildren.i then became pregnant and had a loving daughter keira which my mam loved the thought of being more involved it was perfect her daughter giving her this special gift as all parents feel it different when its the daughter,she attended the birth and was fantastic,her support was so loving i could not ask for more.
in april 2006 she was diagnosed with lung cancer my daughter was 2 months old.she had her lung removed which we were lucky and we thought it was going to be great but sadly 3 weeks later she was diagnosed with brain and liver cancer there was nothing they could do for her,we had to accept that this was going to take over her life and take her from the people she loved and who loved her dearly and will always miss.
the day came she left us peacefully in august 2006 in the marie curie hospice,oh how i long to get her back it is so hard my life without her.my daughter is now 8 months old and i always talk about her nanna and show her pictures but this is not the same,why my mam why keiras nanna its all she ever wanted.
mam i love you so much it hurts so bad not having you around we will never forget you your always in our thoughts please take care of us. i will always love you xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
